RETIREMENTSTARS TO TURN OUT FOR WOGAN'S RETURN TO RADIO 2
Terry Wogan will return to Radio 2 on Sunday Wednesday February 10,2010 By Julia White for Express.co.ukSIR Terry Wogan will be welcomed back to the Radio 2 airwaves by a host of stars on Sunday morning. Veteran radio host Terry Wogan - who bowed out of breakfast radio in December - will return to Radio 2 on Valentine's Day for the first of his Weekend Wogan shows. In front of a studio audience of 300 people, the much-loved presenter will launch his mix of celebrity interviews and live music performances. Actor Sir Ian McKellen and jazz musicians Jamie Cullum and Norah Jones will help kick off his first show. Fans of Wogan can look forward to be serenaded by an eleven-piece house band led by musical director Elio Pace every week.
And they will be able to watch on-demand highlights of each programme the Monday after transmission on the Radio 2 website. "Terry's new show will be the perfect accompaniment to Sunday brunch, which will be the magical combination of Terry's warmth and unique persona, with some of the entertainment world's leading lights," said Radio 2 head of programmes Lewis Carnie.

COME BACK TERRY ALL IS FORGIVEN

That eejit Evans has totally ruined your old morning slot, if the intention by the BBC was to lose listeners then they have achieved their goal.
I tried to listen to the eternal child but it is no good, he is just plain rubbish.
This just goes to show the arrogance of the BBC, if they were a commercial organisation then they would have to accommodate their listeners because of a fear of loss of income, but because they get a TAX income they can just put two fingers up; it is a disgrace.
I find now I listen to MW 909 instead of brain dead boy, the problem is now it can be midday or later before I tune back to Radio 2, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
